We’ve had SOE out to the school for the past three years, and it’s a real highlight in the year. The Transition Year students take part in workshops where they drive a car, learn car maintenance and take part in driving impairment activities. They then practice for the theory test and online searches for cars and insurance. This year we added the Escooter training also, which has been a real hit. It feels great knowing that the students have taken part in workshops that they enjoy, give them a real life skill, and sets them up for safe transport options in the future.
