Cars do not crash – people crash them..........................

Our aim is to improve the quality of driving by targeting the young driver whilst still at school.

We believe that driver education requires classroom instruction and hands on training. To be successful, instruction should be delivered in short training sessions over a long period of time. This allows students to learn skills correctly while adding more complex skills. It is not adequate for students to merely know the correct response. They must do it often enough to generate correct responses that develop into effective habits.

The Irish School of Excellence has developed a program aimed at providing a comprehensive training package for schools and in particular students in a transition year in both English and Irish speaking schools. We also cater for students with disabilities and those who have limited English.

For a more detailed outline of our program see our 'proposal' page. Schools interested in this scheme can contact us by emailing us at info@irishsoe.com and we will be happy to discuss or send you a copy of our program.

Students interested in this scheme in schools that have agreed to our proposal can enrol by filling and submitting the form on our 'contact us' page. Students in schools that have yet to agree to our plan can submit a form to us and we will contact your school to discuss setting up a course more locally.

Some of the profits of the Irish School of Excellence go to the National Rehabilitation Hospital, Dun Laoghaire.
